Diclofenac relieves pain and has anti-inflammatory effects.What this medicine is used for:Diclofenac Teva Extra Strong 2.32%, gel is used in:- the treatment of mild to moderate pain associated with muscle and joint injuries, such as sports injuries.Diclofenac Teva Extra Strong 2.32%, gel is intended for use on the skin only.Ingredients of Teva Diclofenac Extra Sterk 2,32%: Active substance: 1 gram of gel contains 23.2 mg (2.32%) of diclofenac diethylamine, equivalent to 20 mg of diclofenac sodium.Excipients: butylhydroxytoluene, carbomer 980, cocoylcaprylocaprate,diethylamine, isopropyl alcohol, liquid kerosene, macrogolcetostearyl ether, oleyl alcohol,propylene glycol, perfume (dipropylene glycol, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, dimethyl phthalate,isopropyl myristate) and purified water.Use of Teva Diclofenac Extra Sterk 2,32%: Apply 2 to 4 g (5 to 10 cm of gel) twice daily. Do not use more than 8 g per day.Contact a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve within 7 days.Treatment should not exceed 14 days unless recommended by a doctor.1. Before first use: remove the seal using the dot on the back of the screw cap.2. Gently massage the gel into the skin on the painful or swollen area. You may experience a slight cooling sensation as the gel is massaged in.3. Wipe excess gel from your hands with absorbent paper (e.g. kitchen paper) or a damp cloth and then wash your hands to avoid accidental contact with the mouth or eyes, unless your hands are the area being treated.
