This durable felting needle is suitable for all areas. However, it is important to keep the needle straight when inserting and removing it so that it does not break. The fine hooks on the needle, which function like inverted harpoons, cause the wool fibers to become entangled. With the help of this needle, even small details can be felted with great precision. We recommend using a firm foam pad as a base, e.g., a 4 cm thick sheet of our medium-firm foam for back cushions AM30 (300.017), which you can order from us cut to any size. For felting projects at school, we recommend a felt sheet size of approx. 20 x 20 x 4 cm at a price of approx. CHF 3.50.
